Baltimore's police union rejects new contract Some officers told the 11 News I-Team that they object to the change in scheduling. Members now work four 10-hour shifts a week. In 2014, then-Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said the schedule change would help the Police Department rein in overtime, but it didn't. Other officers cited pay.
