Legendary songstress Diana Ross (pictured) is expected to sign off on a revised custody agreement, regarding the children of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, reports RadarOnline.RELATED: Katherine And T.J. Jackson To Share Custody Of M.J.’s Children
Ross, who was supposed to be next in line after the children’s grandmother, Katherine Jackson, (pictured) to care for Michael’s children per his will, is said to be in agreement with the newly proposed custodial arrangement that stipulates that Paris (pictured below far right), Prince Michael (pictured far left), and Prince “Blanket” Michael II (pictured second from right) will have two adults caring for them, Katherine and cousin T.J. Jackson (Tito‘s son and pictured below).
A source who is knowledgeable about the latest custodial update surrounding Michael’s children spoke to RadarOnline revealing, “Diana has no qualms whatsoever about the new custody agreement. She only wants what is best for the children. Diana knows that the children are old enough to decide who they want to live with and she defers to what they want. While Diana hasn’t been a big part of their lives because she lives on the East Coast, she is very fond of them.”
Amid a sea of recent public, utter chaos involving many of the Jackson family members, a judge stripped Katherine of her guardianship over the children because she disappeared for nearly two weeks and Michael’s children could not reportedly reach her.Katherine was not accused of any wrongdoing, but the judge felt that she had been rather derelict in fulfilling her custodial duties and thereby her absence was considered to be an “intentional act from third parties.” So the judge awarded temporary guardianship of the children to T.J.
Since then, the clan — who is known for keeping family business under wraps — has exhibited shocking behavior.
The Jackson siblings have been battling over Michael’s will, claiming that Michael’s signature is a fraud. Janet was recently caught on video striking her niece Paris, arguing over a cell phone, and even calling her out of her name. T.J. reportedly put Uncle Randy in a headlock and punched another Uncle, Jermaine, in the mouth.
Still, Katherine and her grandson T.J. have been the solid and ever-present pillars of strength for Paris, Prince Michael, and Prince Michael II, after their father died in 2009. Therefore, the children reportedly have no objections to T.J. having temporary guardianship over them.
The paperwork is expected to be submitted this week and the judge will have to sign off on the proposed agreement.
